Merlin Power has been at the forefront of military BMS systems for over 20 years. We own the World’s most accurate battery monitoring technology. Our systems are MOTS, TRL-9 and fielded across multiple NATO platforms and fitted as standard on a Program of Recognition with the US Army.

DATACELL IIe: BATTERY MONITORING SYSTEM
The DataCell IIe monitors up to four independent battery banks in real time.

Stand-alone battery monitor to provide both mission-critical battery information and diagnostics for engineers.
- Battery information includes: Volts, Net Amps, SoC% (State of Charge), AHrs and Battery Time Remaining until Flat.
- Battery SoH% (State of Health) for identification of failing batteries before they fail in theatre. Datalogging of all parameters.
- Independent tests by DSTL, TARDEC and EnerSys prove accuracy of >99% on SoC% and >99.9% on SoH%
- Lowest power consumption of any battery monitoring system (less than self discharge rate of batteries)
- Physical NVG compatible display panel and/or J1939/CAN/RS integration

Vehicle BMS to manage primary electrical systems. When operational readiness is non-negotiable, the Vehicle Battery Management System (VBMS) delivers intelligent control and protection for every onboard battery bank. Using smart power gateways, it automatically manages charging, optimises power sharing during discharge, and shields batteries from over-discharge to extend their service life.

A centralised dash panel gives crews the power to switch banks on or off and maintain peak efficiency in the toughest environments—keeping fleets mission-ready without compromise.
