An AGM (Absorbent Glass Mat) deep-cycle battery is a sealed, valve-regulated lead-acid battery that uses a glass mat separator to hold electrolyte in place rather than free-flowing liquid acid. This makes the battery maintenance-free, spill-proof, and safe to mount in almost any orientation (except upside-down), while still delivering the sustained, repeatable discharge cycles a true deep-cycle battery needs. AGM construction also allows for faster recharge rates and better vibration resistance than a standard flooded lead-acid battery, making it well suited to mobile and off-grid applications.

Both the Full Force and DC Series are true deep-cycle AGM batteries built with Fullriver's pure virgin lead plates and over-the-partition welds for vibration resistance, but they're designed for different priorities.
